Autumn twilight at the Capitol

Autumn is in full swing here in Washington, D.C. The fall foliage has made its way down from the mountains and into the city. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to take advantage of the fall color here in the city as much as I would have liked. Work has been very busy for the past few weeks. Nevertheless, I was able to get out after work last week and take this photo. A cloudless sky made the sunset uninteresting, but the twilight just after gave the sky a beautiful lavender hue.
